Richard Z. edits StackRanger. He has spent more than two decades working in technology and data, and he reviews B2B software the way a buyer would: by reading the vendor's own documentation, pricing pages and terms, then checking them against what public user reviews report. Unless a review says otherwise, StackRanger reviews are not based on first-hand use of a paid account.
What StackRanger is — and is not
StackRanger is a documentation-based review site. Reviews explain what a product does, how its pricing and plan limits are structured, where public user feedback agrees or disagrees with the vendor's claims, and which kind of buyer each tool fits.
StackRanger does not publish scores, star ratings or "winner" badges. A single number hides the trade-offs that actually decide a purchase, and we prefer to show those trade-offs directly. When a review is based on first-hand use of a product, the review says so explicitly.
How the site is funded
Some outbound links are affiliate links. If you buy through them, StackRanger may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Products without an affiliate program are covered the same way. Details are in our affiliate disclosure, and our research process is described in How we review.
